We are delighted to now offer a beginners and Improvers Course in Engraving with our course tutor, Martin O'Keeffe.

Martin has an abundance of practical and informative engraving techniques and offers technique, assistance and 'hands-on' practice on the course. All materials are provided and students are encouraged to add engraving to their own pieces.

This course is suitable for beginners, and also for students who have already completed an Engraving course here at The School.

For students who have already completed their first courses in Engraving, new techniques will be introduced in any follow-on courses.

Follow on terms will introduce and teach the skills of hand engraved lettering, and calligraphy styles.

All Engraving courses are available to book below are available as "follow-on" for previous students, or as introduction course for new students. The classes are a mix of students of all levels.

Students must be at least 16 years of age in order to enrol in any course at The School of Jewellery Ireland.

6 Week Engraving Course

6 Week Course

6th February 2018 -20th March 2018.

Tuesday 6.30pm-9.30pm

€260 including all materials.

This 6 Week course will be led through demonstration and a series of hands-on exercises which will allow you to develop a thorough understanding of the technique. All the materials, tools and equipment you need, will be provided.

This course is suitable for both beginners, those with some experience and as a follow-on course for students who have completed a course in Engraving with us before.

Weekend Engraving Course

19th & 20th May 2018

Saturday & Sunday 10am-5.30pm.

€295 including all materials and a delicious homemade lunch.

This intensive two day workshop will be led through demonstration and a series of hands-on exercises which will allow you to develop a thorough understanding of the technique. All the materials, tools and equipment you need, will be provided.

This course is suitable for both beginners, those with some experience and as a follow-on course for students who have completed a course in Engraving with us before.
