The School Of Jewellery - Goldsmith Course

Breda Haugh has been working as a jeweller and designer in Ireland for many years.  Her jewellery in precious metals is strongly influenced by an interest in cultural studies, modern design and  travel.

She is a design graduate of NCAD, Dublin- specialising in jewellery. An Enterprise Ireland scholarship brought her to the renowned Sir John Cass Jewellery School in London- part of the London Metropolitan University -for two years extended study.  There she acquired an appreciation for and skills in fine jewellery, with tutors from Cartier etc.   An interest in gemstones led to the  FGA  and DGA gemstone identification diplomas.  She also completed the City and Guilds Diamond mounting diploma, which covered both design and making.

After a number of years employment in the jewellery industry in London and Dublin in both the manufacturing and retail sectors; Breda set up her studio workshop making her own jewellery, which  is sold through select retail outlets in Ireland, and through her studio.
