What are the age restrictions for enroling on a course?

Students must be at least 16 years of age in order to enrol in any course at The School of Jewellery Ireland. 

What is the difference between Goldsmith and Silversmith Skills?

Making jewellery out of any metal is described by the term goldsmithing. In general, our students mostly work with silver which can be purchased while taking part in a course here. Our goldsmith courses are available as One Day, Weekend , One Week or 8-10 week term courses. 

Silversmithing is the art of shaping a flat sheet of metal into a three dimensional form.  These courses are available as weekend courses- dates listed here
